Compound,
FITA, traditional style archers and bowhunters alike all get together to enjoy
a day’s worth of target shooting.
For
your convenience, the entire range is stocked with bow racks and custom cut
cedar benches.
Archers
will shoot all at the same shooting line at any of the set yardage targets.
Our
practice range is very unique because it is set under the mixed tall hardwood
and pine forest canopy – meaning we have “SHADE”! Archers can enjoy shooting
target archery during the warm North Carolina summers instead of cooking in the
hot Carolina sun.
DCWC
has a beautiful Practice Range set up in a “V Formation”.
Starting
on the left side of the Practice Range there are separate target butts set at
20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 yards.
Starting
on the right side there are targets set at 10, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55 and 65 yards.
In
the near future the range will be completed with an 80-yard target butt.
Giving us full 14 targets. Just like the field course.
